Namo Buddha is situated on a hill above Panauti and requires either a drive or a substantial hike; walking is recommended to visit this place. There is an amazing story concerning the Buddha, commemorated by an ancient stone slab and a stupa with Buddha's all-seeing eyes. Namo Buddha is an ideal place for meditation. The monsoon season (May, June, and July) is not recommended.

Reach Namo Buddha via an approximately 2-4 hour scenic hike north from Dhulikhel.

Bus Travel:
Tourist Buses: Air-conditioned, reserved seats (major cities -Pokhara/Chitwan/Besisahar/ Lumbini/Nepaljunj, Biratnagar/Birjunj/Janakpur etc). There are no direct tourist bus to Dhulikhel.
Local Buses: Crowded, no reserved seats. Night buses riskier due to driver fatigue and theft (But Tourist night bus are safe).
