Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfer to Hotel (BB).
Day 02: Free day for preparation and official briefing (BB).
Day 03: Kathmandu/Ramechhap to Lukla (2800m.) by flight and trek to Phakding, 2652m, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 04: Phakding trek to Namche Bazaar, 3440m. Overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 05: Namche Bazaar, Rest for Acclimatization. Overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 06: Namche Bazaar trek to Tengboche 3867m. Overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 07: Tengboche trek to Pheriche 4343m. Overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 08: Pheriche trek to Lobuje. 4930m. Overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 09: Lobuje/Lobuche trek to Gorepshep – EBC, overnight Hotel/Lodge in Gorep-shep (B/L/D).
Day 10: Gorepshep trek to kalapatter continues to Lobuje, overnight Hotel (B/L/D).
Day 11: Meet Climbing guide and trek to Lobuje / Lobuche High Camp (5510 m), 3–4 hours, overnight at Tented Camping (B/L/D).
Day 12: Lobuje High Camp climbing to Lobuje Peak summit, 6119 m. & back to Lobuje High Camp/Base camp, overnight at tented Camp (B/L/D).
Day 13: Spare days for climbing (B/L/D).
Day 14: Lobuje High Camp/Base Camp trek to Tengboche, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 15: Tengboche trek to Manju 2760m 5/6 hours, overnight in Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 16: Manju trek to Lukla, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 17: Lukla flight to Ramechhap/ Kathmandu, then transfer to Hotel (BB).
Day 18: Last minute, transfer to Airport for your onward journey or next tour (B).
Note: the trekking itinerary is subject to change as your time and interest, time, and there are many options.
Cost and payment details
The cost is depending on group size, affected due to the requirement of number of guides and porters, requisite of Hotel in Kathmandu, method of land/air transport. The itinerary is changeable and modifiable as per needs and time frame of trekkers. Cost will be re calculated if the itinerary is changed or modified. Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfer to Hotel.
Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Join the staff meeting in the evening. Overnight hotel.
Day 02: Free day for preparation and official briefing.
City tour with city guide and tourist coach; Kathmandu is the colorful of Nepal, a fascinating blend of rational architecture and symbols of the twentieth century. Its artistic and cultural heritages are evident, where ornately carried balconies mingle with beautiful shrines and temples. If you have time, we recommend that you check out Durbar square, home to the palace of Kumari Devi, considered to be a living goddess. It is also worth the climb to visit Swayambhunath the monkey temple. Explore the network of street Markets and allay Bazaars, and witness the burning Ghats at PashupatiNath. For those with a few extra days in Kathmandu, the neighboring towns of Patan and Bhaktapur are well worth a visit too.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Lukla (2800m.) by flight and trek to Phakding, 2652m, overnight Hotel/Lodge.
Early morning, (40 minutes) flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m). Meet our trekking crews’. After finishing breakfast, proceed from Lukla to Khumbu, head north, past a Chorten with praying wheels and join the main queue at Choplung (2696m) in less than one hour. The proceed from there head north crossing the Thado Khola (2554m) with the awesome trekking peak Kusum Khanguru (6483m) at its head. To reach Phakding (2640m), 1.30 hours from Choplung or almost 3.30 hours from Lukla, overnight in Hotel.
Note: in the season time, there are no direct flight to Lukla (air traffic in Kathmandu airport) so early morning drive to Ramechhap airport, 4 hours and flight to Lukla and continues trekking to Phakding.
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar, 3440m. Overnight Hotel/Lodge.
To cross the west bank (right) of the Dudh koshi river, continue through blue pine and rhododendron forests, pass a settlement if Metal worker (Tok Tok), village of Banker (2905m) with a small lodge, see the view of mt. Thamserku (6856m) 1 hr. In the short while cross to the east (left) bank and climb up through Chumowa, cross the Khansar Khola to reach Mondzo (2835m). Enter sagarmatha national park here. 1 hour from Banker. Descend in a cleft to the west (right) bank of Dudh Kosi on a suspension bridge to reach Jorsule (2774m) 30 minutes. This is the last village before Namche. We take lunch here & proceed to cross Dudh Kosi (Bhote Kosi) again to the left side & again to cross the main Dudh Kosi, climb up till to Namche Bazaar (3440m), proceed in pine forest. Can see, first view of Mt. Everest between Lhotse & Nuptse reaches 2 and half hours from Jorsule.
Day 05: Namche Bazaar, Rest for Acclimatization. Overnight Hotel/Lodge.
Today is a rest day, however, we should do some activities such as to climb Syangboche airport, visit Sherpa home in khumjung/Khunde or view from Everest view point Hotel 2 hours. Namche bazaar has many officials or offices, including army base camp and bank. Namche used to be a trading center, where grain from the south was exchanged for salt from Tibet, and it remains now a trading center. Every Saturday is market day. It is the headquarters of Sagarmatha National park & Sagarmatha pollution controlled project. Here is the Sherpa Museum & monasteries too.
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche 3867m. Overnight Hotel/Lodge.
The tail rise to the settle to the east of Sagarmatha national park Museum (3520m), Instead, contour high above the Dudh Kosi pass Kyangsuma, down to reach Phorse Tanga and climb 2 hours to reach Tengboche (3767 m, overnight Guest house.
Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche 4410m, 5 hours, Overnight Hotel/Lodge.
Today, we start early, around 7 to 8 o’clock. Half an hour down to Debuche, where there is a monastery and small settlements inside the alpine forest. After a 45 minutes’ walk to cross the bridge, continue climbing to reach lower Pangboche. We are not planning to visit Pangboche village because we plan to go to Dingboche. If you are so interested we can short visit as well, you can talk with your guide. Have lunch in Somare and gradually walk up. There are two ways, one heading to Dingboche and the other is Pheriche. Right hand side direction is our way to Dingboche takes us 1.30 hour to our hotel. After our arrival, have a short drink with rest and climb 200 meters over the hill because every day we “ascent high and sleep in low”. Overnight guest house/Hotel.
Day 08: Pheriche to Lobuje/Lobuche 4930m. Overnight Hotel/Lodge.
We climb half an hour to reach the ride of the Hill where we can see Makalu and many beautiful views. After that the trek to Dukla may we have lunch and climb to Dukla/Dukla pass where many memorial monuments who died in Everest summit. It takes 5 hours to Lobuje. Overnight lodge.
Day 09: Lobuje to Gorepshep to Everest Base Camp, overnight Hotel/Lodge in Gorep-shep.
Early in the morning leaving Lobuje, after lunch in Ghorab-sheep within 3 hours walk, we will head up to Everest Base camp (5365 meters), and return to Gorak-shep at elevation of 5180 meters at noon for our overnight stay. We walk over the moving stone with a jump, so it is hard to be careful to walk 5 hours. Overnight at Guest house with breakfast, lunch and dinner with hot drinks in Gorep-shep.
Day 10: Gorepshep to Kalapatter continues to Lobuje, overnight hotel.
After reaching Base camp of Everest our aim today is to Climb Kala Pattar (5545 meters). We start early morning before sunrise to reach the viewpoint that offers some of the best views of Mount Everest as well as other panoramas of the surrounding mountains. Kalapattar means “Black rock”, most excellent view point in the world. Returning to Hotel, after late breakfast descend to Lobuje, have lunch and check the equipment, meet the climbing guide, overnight at Tented Camp.
Day 11: Lobuje to Lobuje High Camp (5510 m), 3–4 hours, overnight at Tented Camping.
After breakfast, we push to high camp. Today is a short walk over the moving rock. We have not fixed the rope. Asian Hiking Team staff fix the camp, have lunch, then we walk for acclimatization and some training by a climbing guide. Save the energy for the next day, so we sleep early and start early the next day, overnight at camp.
Day 12: Lobuje High Camp to Lobuje Peak summit, 6119 m. & back to Lobuje high camp/Base camp, overnight at tented Camp.
Very early may be 1 to 2 AM wake-up call, take some hot soup and start climbing, Lobuje peak is a rock climb and also there are a few peaks, there is a mountain terrace. Summit the Lobuje Peak and return to Base Camp, overnight in Base Camp/ High Camp, overnight at tented camp.
Day 13: Spare days for climbing.
Today we give you a spare day, weather is our master, we can’t control, so we give you one more day for extra days. As well as the human body, may get sick or any problems, nobody no nose. You have already spent a lot of money to climb Island peak, if one more day extra may you can succeed so that we make spare days. If you climb on your schedule, you may use a spare day at another place as you want.
Day 14: Lobuje Base Camp to Tengboche. Overnight Hotel/Lodge.
Trekking all the way same return to Tengboche, 5/6 hours, overnight Lodge/hotel.
Day 15: Tengboche to Manju 2760m 5/6 hours, overnight in Hotel/Lodge.
Trekking all the way same return to Manju, 5/6 hours, overnight Lodge/hotel.
Day 16: Manju to Lukla, overnight Hotel/Lodge.
Trekking all the way same to Lukla, 4 hours, overnight Lodge/hotel.
Day 17: Lukla to Kathmandu by flight, then transfer to Hotel.
Early morning flight to Lukla, 35 minutes flight, transfer to hotel, end your trip, free and rest, overnight in Hotel.
Day 18: Last minute, transfer to Airport for your onward journey or next tour.
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey as your flight time or next tour.
Note: It is noticeable that Lukla flight is depending on weather. It is possible to drive to Sallery or Thandanda (2 days drive and one day trek, extra 3 days). If you are interest to do Chitwan Jungle Safari, White Water River Rafting, Paragliding, Bungee Jump, Let us know, Those programs need a few extra days.
