Non-touristic area trekking

Non Touristic area trekking

Non-touristic area treks provide a special experience, allowing you to gain knowledge and immerse yourself in the cultures of the genuine people of Nepal. And going to these areas facilitates developing these poorer areas with sustainable trekking opportunities such as community and home based guest houses (home stays). Asian Hiking Team are always looking for new trekking areas. We offer these treks because many travelers would like to experience a lifestyle, village, people, and culture that has not been so much altered by tourists and trekkers on the main trek routes. Non-tourist area trekking routes give a different sense of natural beauty to make our clients happy.

Nepal is one of the best destinations in the world for enjoying the real beauty of nature through trekking. The trails into the less frequented parts of the country follow ancient foot-trails which meander through scenic river-banks, intricately terraced fields, remote villages and the forested ridges connecting picturesque villages. The rhododendron-filled, green, dark and deep forests with different seasonal flowers blossoming can catch anyone's eye as can the scattered residential cottages, domestic and forest animals, the variety of birds, Hindu and Buddhist temples, mountains, breathtaking landscape, and above all warm greetings from smiling local people. Non-tourist area trekking in Nepal is an all season activity. It is possible at any time of the year depending on where one wishes to go. During trekking in non-tourist areas, accommodation is either in a local home or basic tea house or tented camp. Food safety is always a big concern, and we take it very seriously. That is why we have chosen the cleanest and almost hygienically kept tea houses and home stays along the routes.

Here, we describe a few non-tourist or newly opened trekking routes such as Ganesh Himal trekking, Tamang Heritage Trail (THT) trekking, Bhairabkunda trekking, Panch Pokhari trekking, Ruby Valley trekking, and Kalo Seto Kunda trekking.
