Machhermo peak is situated at Mahalangur region. This is one of the most interesting peak climbing among the Peaks in Nepal. To reach the base camp, the trail leads through Yak pasture, in the way of Gokyo trek. The base camp is set up above the rocky meadows and moraine around 5140 meters. Further, climb ascends on the rock and snow slopes to reach the top. The same path descends to base camp. From the summit of Machhermo Peak provides stunning views of Amadablam, Lhotse Shar, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest.
Machhermo peak climbing route is starting the caravan route to Lukla and all the way to Gokyo, climb Gokyo Ri for acclimatization. Continues treks to Machhermo base Camp and returns from Namche Bazaar all the way down to Lukla.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel overnight in Kathmandu (BB).
Day 02: Kathmandu equipment / permit preparation and Kathmandu valley sightseeing, overnight in Kathmandu (BB).
Day 03: Lukla (fly) trek to Phakding 3.30 hours, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 6 hours, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 05: Namche Bazaar – Acclimatization day, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 06: Trek to Dole 6 hours, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 07: Trek to Machherma 5 hours, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 08: Trek to Gokyo 4 hours, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 09: Acclimatization day and climb Gokyo Ri, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 10: Trek to Machermo Base Camp 5140m, overnight Tented Camp (B/L/D).
Day 11: Climbing period of Machermo Peak 5559 Meter and return to base camp to Machermo, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 12: Trek to Khumjung, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 13: Trek to Monjo/ Phakding, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 14: Trek to Lukla, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu and transfer into a hotel (BB).
Day 16: Departure to Airport (B).
Cost and payment details
The cost is depending on group size, affected due to the requirement of number of guides and porters, requisite of Hotel in Kathmandu, method of land/air transport. The itinerary is changeable and modifiable as per needs and time frame of trekkers. Cost will be re calculated if the itinerary is changed or modified. Cost Includes:
- Airport/Hotel/Airport transfers.
- Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu with BB Plan as itinerary - Twin Sharing Room (3-star Hotel).
- Accommodation during the trekking and climbing.
- All Land Transport as itinerary.
- Sagarmatha National Park and Conservation fees.
