The Gosaikunda Holy Lake trek is in Langtang National Park and takes in the high-altitude freshwater lake of Gosaikunda. The altitude of Gosaikunda Lake is 4,380m from sea. Dhunche is the starting & ending point to Gosaikunda Holy lake trek. There are road to Dhunche which is district head office of Rasuwa district of Nepal. The Dhunche to Gosaikunda trek is a well-known trekking route in the Langtang region of Nepal. It is a moderate to difficult trip that takes you through lush forests, alpine meadows, glacier lakes, and breathtaking Himalayan scenery. The Dhunche to Gosaikunda Distance is approximately 18 kilometers.
Asian Hiking Team drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche by tourist coach. It is 122KM from Kathmandu, takes 4–6 hours. Upon arrival in Dhunche our team final backpack and start hiking to Deurali. It is a short trek, so takes 1.30 to 2 hours. On the next day, we trek all the way to Gosaikunda Lake. Gosaikunda is the Holy Lake. There are 108 lakes surrounding the Gosaikunda area, but the Gosaikunda is the biggest and famous Lake according to Hindus mythology. On the third day, explore the Gosaiunda Lake and Surye peak then trek return to Sing Gomba also known as Chandanbari. In our itinerary we mentioned all the way to Sing Gomba (Chandanbari) however if all members are fine continues trek to Dhunche as well. The final day we trek to Dhunche and drive to Kathmandu.
Day 01: Kathmandu to Dhunche by Bus/Jeep 5-6 hours’ drive and trek to Deurali (2630m) 2 hours, overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Deurali to Gosaikunda (4380m) trekking 5-6 hours, overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Gosaikunda to Sing Gomba also known as Chandanbari (3250m), 4-6 hours trekking, overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Sing Gomba (Chandanbari) trek to Dhunche (1950m) 2-3 hours and drive to Kathmandu by Bus/Jeep, 4-6 hours, transfer to hotel.

What is includes in package service?
Permit and Documents: Asian Hiking Team provide you langtang National park permit and TIMS permit. National park permit check in Dhunche.
Transportation: Asian Hiking Team provide both way Tourist bus ticket from Kathmandu to Dhunche and return to Kathmandu. All the bus goes early morning start from 6 to 8am. Asian Hiking team staff pick up from your hotel in Kathmandu and drive by Car/taxi to bus stop. And our staff drop you in your hotel in the end of your trek. The trip is fully organized.
Accommodation: 3 nights Hotel Accommodation includes during the trekking. Asian Hiking Team provide the best hotel during the trekking. All our hotels running hot and cold water, net and clean. We provide the sharing basic accommodation. If you want private room also possible on request. Most of the night we provide attach bathroom, but not everywhere. We book all accommodation before start trek.
Meals: Asian Hiking Team provide breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, every day (one main item). You can choose food from menu. Drinks are unlimited so that if you want hot and cold drinks, you can pay yourself.
Guide and Sherpa porter: Asian Hiking Team have one experience, English speaking trekking guide to every group. If more than 7 persons, one extra Sherpa supporting guide. Porter is not including if you are single, it is on request. There are local porter we use with insurance, equipment. We used local Guide and Sherpa porter because the local people can take a benefit. Our porter carry 25 KG. We provide all guide and porter has trekking insurance, equipment, daily wages, accommodation, meals.
Equipment: Asian Hiking Team provide sleeping bag or blanket for our clients during the trekking. The others gear you need to prepare yourself. If you need further equipment list, check in equipment page or email us.
Government Taxes/Service Charge: Yes, the cost includes all the government taxes, VAT, Local Tax, company service charge etc. BUT the cost is not including guide or porters tips. The tips are minimum 10% of total cost.
What is Excludes?
Meals and Accommodation in Kathmandu (let us know your budget, here are different categories hotels, we can help you to reservation), extra meals, Soft/hard drinks, drinking water, Tea/ coffee during trekking except includes part, hot shower, internet & electricity bills during trekking, Personal trekking gears & clothing, Medical evacuation in case of emergency, expenses incurred due to mishaps, landslide, strikes, political unrest weather etc. (in such case extra will be charged as per actual) and Tips for staff or Donation.
