Annapurna Circuit trekking is the popular trek named for a 300 kilometer trek in Nepal. It includes the high pass Thorong-La pass at altitude 5,416 meters. Annapurna is in the central north of Kathmandu. It is in Gandaki Providence of Nepal. The routes touched Tanahu, Lamjung, Manang, Mustang, Parbat and Kaski district of Nepal.

Annapurna circuit trek follows ancient paths used as a salt trade route between Nepal and Tibet. Annapurna trail has long facilitated the flow of cultures and religions in this remote and formerly inaccessible region. Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism, Hinduism and the mysterious Bon-PO religion still coexist and interpenetrate one another in the benefit of Annapurna region, which contains many pilgrimage sites.

The Annapurna circuit trek is possibly combined with an Annapurna base camp trek within an extra one week, continues from Ghorepani to Tadapani and entry to Annapurna Base Camp from Chhumrung and end trek in Nayapul.

Asian Hiking Team recommended an itinerary for Annapurna Circuit trekking starting from Besisahar, “Lamjung district headquarters” 5 to 6 hours is driving from Kathmandu. From Besisahar it takes 7–8 days to reach Thorong Phedi or High camp, including one extra acclimatization day in Manang. From Thorong Phedi/High Camp, 8 to 10 hours walk to reach Muktinath. Muktinath continues the trek to Marpha, Kalapani, Ghasa, Tatopani, Ghorepani and ends in Nayapul then drives to Pokhara. However, nowadays, the seasonal road heads to Chame or Manang and also the road touches Muktinath. It is also possible to fly daily to/from Jomsom too. But Asian Hiking Team recommends Annapurna circuit trekking, start from Jagat and end trek in Nayapul. It is possible to start from Dharapani or Chame and end in Muktinath or Jomsom as well.

Annapurna round trekking is possible Guest house/Hotel basic. There are possible Guest houses or Hotels on the way in our trekking routes. In winter, time may be close to the Thorong-La Pass.
